• 1984 - Hugh Morton, who played Sir James Gregson in The Seeds of Death, dies.

• 2000 - Roy Purcell (Chief Prison Officer Powers in The Mind of Evil and the President of the Council in The Three Doctors) dies as a result of complications from an operation.
