• The Doctor is present at Lord Byron's summer home in Switzerland at which Mary Shelley came up with the story of Frankenstein. (BFA: Storm Warning, The Company of Friends)
• The Doctor would later return to this time and place to help the cross-dimensional traveller Zzazik. Mary Shelley received the inspiration for the name of her novel. (DWBIT: The Creative Spark)
