• 27th August - Australian cricket player Donald Bradman is born in Cootamundra, New South Wales. The Doctor meets him circa 1932. (DW: Four to Doomsday)

• unknown date - The Tunguska Scroll is recovered in the Tanguska Basin in Russia. (SJA: Enemy of the Bane)

It is heavely implied that the scroll reached the Earth in the real-life Tunguska Event, which would place the recovery somewhere after June 30, the date of the impact
