1918 was the year of a major flu epidemic, (TV: The Unicorn and the Wasp; AUDIO: The White Room) which carried over to 1919, killing more people than World War I had. (PROSE: The Clockwise Man) Colonel Hugh Curbishley caught it, and was "never the same" again. (TV: The Unicorn and the Wasp)
