- 28 - The signing of the Treaty of Versailles officially brings an end to World War I, although fighting had ended the previous November.

- The Doctor, Bernice Summerfield, Roz Forrester and Chris Cwej investigate the disappearance of children throughout Europe and assist in the end of the Q'ell war. (NA: Toy Soldiers)
- A company on earth called Bassett's introduces a new confection called "Peace Babies" in honour of the end of the First World War. In 1953, the candy came to be known as Jelly Babies. They would become a favorite confection of the Doctor's, being enjoyed by his second, fourth (in particular), and eighth incarnations. The Master would also be seen enjoying a bag at one point (DW: The Sound of Drums)
