• 4 - The crew of the SS Bernice vanishes from the Indian Ocean, becoming an exhibit in Vorg's Miniscope, however due to the intervention of the Doctor, the crew are eventually returned to their original time with no memory of having left. (DW:Carnival of Monsters)

• The disappearance of the crew of the SS Bernice becomes a minor mystery along the lines of the Mary Celeste in succeeding years, however the Doctor changes history in a minor way by returning the crew to their proper place in time and space, negating the vessels notoriety.
