- Soviet soldiers come ashore at Maiden's Point, Northumberland and conceal themselves. They intend to steal the Ultima Machine located in a military base nearby. (DW: The Curse of Fenric)
- The next day, the Doctor arrives at Maiden's Point to defeat Fenric. Ace, his companion, does not know of his intentions. Meanwhile, long-dormant Haemovores rise from the bay. (DW: The Curse of Fenric)
- The day after: Fenric has the Haemovores attack the base and summon their master, Ingiger. Ace's grandmother, Kathleen Dudman escapes with her baby daughter, Audrey Ace's mother. Fenric and the Doctor have their final confrontation. (DW: The Curse of Fenric)
- Kathleen Dudman re-locates at the address given to her by Ace. (DW: The Curse of Fenric)
