• The BBC science fiction television series Nightshade starring Edmund Trevithick as the title character came to an end after five years. It was rebroadcast on BBC2 in December 1968. (PROSE: Nightshade, PROSE: The Left-Handed Hummingbird)
• The Tenth Doctor took Martha Jones to Wisconsin in order to sample milkshakes. The stop was part of a larger hunt for the greatest milkshakes in the universe. (COMIC: Agent Provocateur)
