• 1935 - Glenn Beck, who played the TV announcer in DW: The Tenth Planet, is born in Cranbrook, British Columbia, Canada.

• 1947 - Jonathan Pryce, who played the 17th Master in The Curse of Fatal Death, is born in Holywell, Wales.

• 1968 - DW: The Wheel in Space, Episode 6, is first broadcast.

• 1973 - Adam Garcia, who plays Alex Klein in DW: The Christmas Invasion, is born in Wahroonga, New South Wales, Australia.

• 1974 - DW: Planet of the Spiders, Episode 5, is first broadcast.

• 1996 - Part one of Descendance appears in the Radio Times.

• 2005 - Geoffrey Toone, who played Hepesh in DW: The Curse of Peladon and Temmosus in Dr. Who and the Daleks, dies in Northwood, Middlesex, England.
