[edit] History of the Doctor Who Universe
[edit] November
- The Doctor, Fitz Kreiner and Samantha Jones arrrive in San Francisco, however Sam Jones and the TARDIS fall into a dimensional anomaly. Sam Jones is lost, reverted to her original timeline. This version of Sam sacrifices herself to save the TARDIS and San Francisco. (EDA: Unnatural History)
[edit] Unknown
- As the UK heads for a general election, Sherilyn Harper's far right New Britannia party threatens to hold the balance of power in a volatile political climate. Several assassination attempts are made against Harper, first by unknown gunmen and then by a terrorist organisation called United Front - which also firebombs some of their district offices in the south east. Riots break out in London just before polling day. This dissent into chaos is partly caused by a creature from a distant world, the Fearmonger, which feeds off emotional fear - although it is helped by Harper's party's attempts to whip up fear, including staging the assassination attempts. The seventh Doctor intervenes and is able to destroy the creature, as well as expose Harper and her party - with the help (sort of) of shock jock, Mick Thompson (BF: The Fearmonger).
