23 March 2472 was Jo Grant's first destination in the TARDIS. The Master tried to navigate between the three groups in Uxarieus, the humans, the Interplanetary Mining Corporation and the native Uxarieans, to gain control of the Uxariean Doomsday Weapon. A more important date to human history, however, was 23 March 1933: the day that Adolf Hitler became Führer of Germany.
