- 1977 - Whose Doctor Who, the first documentary about the programme, was first broadcast on BBC Two.
- 1995 - The Ribos Operation and The Pirate Planet were released on VHS.

- 2008 - Part one of the Doctor Who Adventures comic story The Poison Planet was first published.
