Alan Dale played Aaron Copley in the Torchwood television story Reset. He has had several successful roles in television, including appearing in his native Australia as Jim Robinson in the soap opera Neighbours, as Director Tom Morrow in the first and second series of NCIS, and as one of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in The West Wing. In North America, he is probably best known for his role as recurring guest star Charles Widmore on Lost.
