Allister Bowtell was a freelance model maker who made various costumes for 1970s Doctor Who. Among his credits included providing the furs worn by the Spiridons in Planet of the Daleks (INFO: Planet of the Daleks) and the costumes for the Cybermen in Revenge of the Cybermen. (INFO: Planet of the Daleks) He also made Omega's costume that was seen in The Three Doctors, working to costume designer James Acheson's designs[1]. He provided the prosthetic head worn by actor Simon Jones for Jones' role as the Grand Master in the stage play The Seven Keys to Doomsday. (INFO: Planet of the Daleks)
