Anak, the King of the Giants, was an entertainer in Victorian London. He was eight feet tall and posed as a Frenchman.
Anak was actually from the Rock Belt of Hextacosulous. He came to Earth with a bottle of liquid containing warring microbes. The bottle, the contents of which resembled ink, was stolen from Anak by Mary Prout. With the Third Doctor's help, the "ink" was destroyed. (PROSE: The Lampblack Wars)
