Father Angelo was the leader of a group of monks, the Brethren.They took over Torchwood House to awaken a Werewolf and create the "Empire of the Wolf". The monks tried to infect Queen Victoria with a bite from the Wolf to start the events. Angelo was revealed as a traitor and Queen Victoria shot him. He could speak Latin. (TV: Tooth and Claw)
