Tardis

Anglica was a small town with a cathedral.

On 23 March 1526, the Eleventh Doctor and Amy Pond went to the town because the Doctor wanted to find out why it vanished on that day. While exploring the town, they encountered the Weeping Angels. Amy was lured into a trap and sent back in time to 1446. The Doctor followed her in the TARDIS, but, since the Angels were too strong in 1446, they returned to 1526 to defeat them. The Doctor tricked the Angels into staring at each other, locking them in quantum lock until they would eventually tun into statues indefinitely due to lack of sustenance. The Doctor explained that this meant that Anglica would not vanish and the travellers left. (GAME: Angels in the Shadows)

Some time later, the Eleventh Doctor revisited Anglica and landed in its cathedral. The Doctor called Anglica the city of culture, but by the time the he and Amy arrived it was invaded by the Daleks. The Daleks had kidnapped Mrs Jones and only kept her alive to use her as a bait to take the time orbs from the Doctor. The Doctor set Mrs Jones free. However, there was a Dalek ship in the orbit and the Daleks were threatening to destroy Earth if the Doctor didn't do what they said. After sending Mrs Jones to the TARDIS, where it was safe, Amy and the Doctor went through a portal to the Dalek ship. (GAME: The Mazes of Time)
