Anita was one of the members of the crew that came to the Library, she was a human archaeologist from the 51st century. Along with Proper Dave and Other Dave she was taken over by the Vashta Nerada, but River Song and Strackman Lux thought that she was still alive because the Doctor turned the light off in her space helmet and she didn't keep repeating herself. She had however been eaten but the Doctor was aware of this because she only had one shadow and kept the knowledge to himself in order to use it against the Vashta Nerada (DW: Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead)
