Anne Rice's Theatre des Vampires was also mentioned in the novel Possum Kingdom, as well as the names Armand and Lestat, which were the names of two vampires in Anne Rice's novel series The Vampire Chronicles. However Anne Rice's name wasn't mentioned in the novel.
