Artificial gravity was a means of simulating gravity.

The Fourth Doctor speculated that Deepcity's artificial gravity was created by a layer of stabilised neutronium on the floor of the cavern inside the asteroid where it was hidden. (PROSE: A Device of Death)

The TARDIS' gravitic anomaliser generated a localised field of artificial gravity around the outside of the vessel. The Fourth Doctor used the gravitic anomaliser to help a Skonnan ship escape the gravity field of a nascent black hole. (TV: The Horns of Nimon) When House took control of the TARDIS, it proposed, among other methods, to kill the Eleventh Doctor, Idris, Amy Pond and Rory Williams by increasing the gravity. (TV: The Doctor's Wife)

The Midnight Cathedral had artificial gravity and an osmotic atmosphere barrier. (PROSE: The Quantum Archangel)

The Schirron Dream was capable of faster-than-light travel and had artificial gravity, although the Seventh Doctor had to show li Shao how to activate these features. (PROSE: Sky Pirates!)

The anti-grav waves on Halalka were held up by artificial gravity generators. (AUDIO: Fugitives)

The Byzantium had artificial gravity. On Alfava Metraxis in the 51st century, the Eleventh Doctor shot a gravity globe floating above him and ordered his companions to jump. This caused them to land on the Byzantium above them. (TV: The Time of Angels / Flesh and Stone) The failure of this gravity caused the Weeping Angels pursuing the Doctor, Amy Pond and River Song to fall into a crack in the universe. (TV: Flesh and Stone)

KS-159 had an artificial gravity field. (AUDIO: Siege Mentality)

The mining station Chasm Forge used artificial gravity. (TV: Oxygen)

Dalek space stations had minimal artificial gravity as the Daleks could magnetise themselves to the floor or even fly in emergency situations. (PROSE: Engines of War)

Parallel universe[]

In a parallel universe in which Great Britain was a fascist state known as the Republic of Great Britain, the Republican Security Forces battled the Bannermen in Wales, from whom they obtained artificial gravity and fast drive technology. (PROSE: The Face of the Enemy)
