Asia was one of three ruling androids on EarthWorld. She was distinguishable from Antarctica and Africa only by her blue dress.
She and her two sisters were the children of Guy Hanstrum and Elizabethan Hoover through in vitro fertilisation. An accident caused the embryo to split threefold, leading to all three triplets being antisocial. Hanstrum thought of the triplets as his own, and killed Elizabethan when he found she was planning to tell her husband John F Hoover of the triplets' true parentage.
The three triplets thought that they had killed Elizabethan, and caused many androids on EarthWorld to kill people.
