Body-area-network suits were jumpsuits used by Forge agents. They were created from a combination of salvaged alien technology.

Functions

BAN suits had conductive fibres woven into them that turned the suit into a computer network. The suits had PDA functions, an uplink to Oracle, GPS functionality, and mobile communication. They had touch-sensitive screens on the left arms.

BAN suit helmets had earpieces and built in cameras with face-recognition. Their visors had heads-up-displays and could tint themselves to protect the wearer's eyes from the sun.

The extreme-weather BAN suits had all of the features of the standard suits along with altitude and barometric sensors. (PROSE: Project: Valhalla)

Appearance

Standard BAN suits were dark blue. They had the phrase "For King and Country" on their arms.

The BAN flight suits were grey. (AUDIO: Project: Nirvana)

The extreme-weather BAN suits were made of a smooth white nylon. This was for camouflage in snowy environments. (PROSE: Project: Valhalla)

History

Edith Crumpton was the scientist in charge of creating the BAN suits.

In early 2000s, urban field agents began testing the standard BAN suit.

Months later, the extreme-weather BAN suits were first tested during Project: Valhalla. (PROSE: Project: Valhalla)

In 2015, Forge soldiers wore BAN suits while escorting Derleth from Ukraine to Great Britain.

Sometime later, the Forge developed BAN flight suits. The Seventh Doctor stole two of them and gave them to Lysandra Aristedes and Sally Morgan. Lysandra and Sally used them to get onto the train transporting Derleth in 2015. (AUDIO: Project: Nirvana)
