The Third Doctor owned a barn located on a Welsh mountainside. It was adjoined to a derelict farmhouse. The Doctor used the barn as a place to work on repairing his TARDIS. It was cluttered with his many tools.
After the Brigadier gave him two days of uninterrupted leave from UNIT work, the Doctor used the time to work in the barn. He temporarily fixed the TARDIS; when the Doctor tried to leave Earth, a circuit broke and he ended up in Australia. (COMIC: Gemini Plan)
