Barrett was an astronaut aboard a spacecraft stationed in the Kuiper Belt. He learned about the cameras on board that broadcast the astronauts' every movement back to Earth for entertainment purposes. However, he assumed that this meant they had never left Earth, and to prove it he left the ship through the airlock, unintentionally killing himself. (PROSE: Observer Effect)
