The common bedbug, designated cimex lectularius, was an Earth insect carried by an escaped Vredosian posing as a chambermaid at the Withington Hotel in Cardiff. The alien caused a major bedbug outbreak at the hotel. In plenty, the species left behind "eggs, faecal spots, and a lively collection of first-instar nymph". (PROSE: Pack Animals)
