Besnik Lucca was the most dangerous criminal in all of Cardiff, if not Wales, in the early 21st century.
Lucca was born in the mid-1960s in Latvia. However, he left the country as soon as possible to seek asylum in the United Kingdom because of his enemies in Latvia.
Physically, he was tanned and muscular. He had dark hair. He used his looks to attract younger women. He always dressed in a crisp linen shirt and an Armani suit. He drove a Porsche. He was a great fan of the classical composer Wagner with whom he felt a connection because of his escape from Latvia.
The police had been trying to pin something on him for ages: robbery, extortion, prostitution, pornography and murder. According to a rumour, he had once deep-fried a man's testicles. However, he was never convicted.
In 2008, he financed the construction of SkyPoint, a high-tech apartment building, and took up residence in the penthouse suite. He installed a security camera network throughout the building so he could spot any intruders long before they got to him.
Soon after this, a young foot-soldier of his tried to swindle him by cutting flour into his cocaine shipments. Lucca took swift revenge by killing the boy.
He sent an alien "Wall Walker" to capture the tenants so he could conduct experiments on them. At one point, he captured Owen Harper and Toshiko Sato. (PROSE: SkyPoint)
