Bix Biro was the producer of Orson Welles' production of The War of the Worlds. He was blackmailed by Cosmo Devine, by kidnapping his lover Jimmy Winkler, to use his contacts to find the whereabouts of an alien ship. He embedded the information on the broadcast.
