Bounty was one of three stories read by Paul McGann and originally released on the Earth and Beyond double cassette. This story and the other two, Dead Time and The People's Temple, were later released in 2004 on MP3-CD Tales from the TARDIS Volume 2. It was chronologically the first Eighth Doctor audio story.
