Brodie was a five-year-old boy whose parents vacationed in the Catskill Mountains. While there he played with Patrick O'Hara in the woods until his father forbade him. Brodie was angry when the Butler Institute began tearing down the woods to construct a project site. He tried to smash one of the site's security camera with a rock. He ran away when he missed and met the Seventh Doctor, who helped him make a slingshot and gave him advice on using it. Brodie's next attempt succeeded. Months later, he was reunited with the Doctor after the destruction of the site. (PROSE: Cat's Cradle: Warhead)
