Butterfly Person (Star Poet)

The "Star Poet" was a female Butterfly Person known to Sarah Jane Smith. The Butterfly person is in fact an Arcateeniad according to the SJA game monster hunt.

Having gotten lost, the Star Poet located Sarah Jane Smith, who gave her directions back home. In return, the Star Poet gave Sarah Jane a contact to help her with writing her poetry. Maria Jackson saw Sarah Jane with the Star Poet in her garden. This was the first alien she ever saw. (SJA: Invasion of the Bane).
- The Star Poet apparently belongs to the same species as "Mary", who described herself as originating from the planet Arcateen 5.

Nothing links the Star Poet to Sarah Jane's friend, the un-named Verron soothsayer mentioned in Whatever Happened to Sarah Jane? and, later in Journey's End. Additionally, Sarah Jane described the soothsayer as "he", not "she".
