By the Light of the Asteroid was a television programme that aired on Sto. It focused on the Crystal family, one of whom was named Joofy Crystal, growing up by an asteroid. Foon Van Hoff and Morvin Van Hoff were big fans of the show. Little else is known of the programme's content, other than that Joofy had had five husbands and it apparently featured twins.
In 2008, the show sponsored a competition in which the prize was a holiday to Earth. Foon won it. She later revealed to her husband Morvin that she had dialled the competition five thousand times and her phone bill was five thousand credits. (TV: Voyage of the Damned)
