Illustrators are those real world individuals who provide non-sequential art. Such art may be found underscoring a particular moment in a prose story, being the principle subject of a standalone poster, or featuring on a non-comic product cover. Illustrators are distinct from comic artists. Nevertheless, many individuals who are principally comic artists will occasionally do illustrative work, and some illustrators will occasionally work on comic covers.
