This category captures the releases of the full soundtracks (dialogue and music) of episodes of Doctor Who. Typically, though not always, such releases are limited to missing episodes from the 1960s. In the 21st century these are sometimes, especially on iTunes, marketed as "audiobooks", but they aren't, really. Audiobooks of episodes from the 1963 version of Doctor Who are typically readings of the novelisation.

Though these releases may or may not have a narrator, the bulk of the audio is taken from someone putting a tape recorder up to the speaker of a TV and pressing "record". This is why they're called "off air recordings".
