The Chinese three-striped box turtle (Cuora trifasciata) was a type of small turtle found in parts of China and Vietnam. It could be identified by three black stripes on its shell and a black stripe on its green or yellow head. It was wiped out in 2062 due to hunting by humans.
The last Chinese three-striped box turtle was being sold in a market in China. Celia and Martha were sent to pick it up. However, they bought the wrong turtle and had to trade the red-eared slider they did buy for it. The Chinese three-striped box turtle was worth 700 points in the I-Spyder Book of Earth Creatures.
