Christopher Benton, also known as Chris, was the brother of John, George and Charlotte Benton.
Biography[]
Chris was born to Sergeant Benton and his wife. He had two older brothers, George and John, and a younger sister, Charlotte. (PROSE: Wartime) Unlike John, Chris did not want to be a soldier like their father. (HOMEVID: Wartime)
In 1944, Chris and John went on a picnic in the woods outside Bolton with their parents whilst George looked after baby Charlotte at home. (PROSE: Wartime) Chris climbed onto the high wall of a ruined tower and lost his footing, falling to his death. John tried to save him, but failed and blamed himself. (HOMEVID: Wartime)
Legacy[]
In the 1970s, while transporting by Land Rover a shipment of radioactive material near Bolton, Benton found himself in a nightmare world where past and present were one. He confronted Chris's ghost, as well as those of their father and mother, until he freed himself from his guilt and returned to reality. (HOMEVID: Wartime)
