Added by The LibrarianThe Chugra were a race of large, green insects with bulbous heads, elongated bodies and many legs. They were capable of living in space. They were lost in the eye of a vortex storm for over a million years (Earth relative time). Believed by many (including the Eleventh Doctor) to be extinct, their warship was trapped in the vortex by the Shadow Proclamation for crimes against temporal physics. They attempted once to reach out to the TARDIS to escape but were left trapped by the Doctor to complete their sentence. (COMIC: Funny Phone Call!)
