Claire Daly was the daughter of Major Daly.
Biography[]
In June 1926, Claire and her father took passage on the SS Bernice, which was removed from space and time and placed in a miniscope which eventually came into Vorg's possession. Daly, along with the rest of the passengers and crew of the Bernice, was returned to Earth by the Third Doctor.
She was in a romantic relationship with Lieutenant John Andrews. The miniscope loop involved the pair constantly walking round the ship before a plesiosaurus emerged, causing her to scream.
During their walk, Claire told John that she was a huge fan of musical theatre and that she had seen Lady, Be Good four times. She thought that its star, Fred Astaire, was "marvellous". (TV: Carnival of Monsters)
