Colin Gordon (27 April 1911-4 October 1972) played the Commandant in the Doctor Who story The Faceless Ones. His film career dated back to the 1940s and at the time of his appearance on Doctor Who Gordon was a frequently guest on UK TV shows, including Z-Cars and UFO. He was also one of only two actors to play Number Two more than once on The Prisoner, the other being Leo McKern.
