Colin Salmon is a British actor who played Doctor Moon in the Doctor Who television stories Silence in the Library and Forest of the Dead. He also portrayed Trooper Salway in the Big Finish Doctor Who audio story Wirrn Dawn.
Salmon was one of many actors rumoured by the UK media to be in the running to play the Eleventh Doctor.[1]
He is best known for his role as MI6 agent Charles Robinson, which he portrayed in three consecutive James Bond films, alongside Samantha Bond, who played Miss Moneypenny. Other film credits include starring roles in Resident Evil and Alien vs. Predator.
More recently he has had recurring roles in the TV series 24, as well as Arrow, also featuring John Barrowman.
