The corgi was a breed of dog. Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom was fond of Corgis, and kept several as pets. The Seventh Doctor and Ace saw her walking with them on the grounds of Windsor Castle in 1988. (TV: Silver Nemesis)
On Christmas 2008, she hastily evacuated Buckingham Palace with her corgis as the spaceship Titanic threatened to crash down onto it, only for the Tenth Doctor to avert disaster. (TV: Voyage of the Damned)
