Curly, Rod and Anton were members of Giles Kent's plot to take down Ramón Salamander. In 2018, they mistook the Second Doctor for Salamander and attacked him in their hovercraft, ignoring Astrid Ferrier's orders to hold their fire. The three men chased Astrid, the Doctor and his companions to Astrid's bungalow, but in the firefight Curly was accidentally shot and killed by Rod. (TV: The Enemy of the World)
