DWM is the prefix for most text stories and comics that originally appeared in Doctor Who Magazine, previously known as Doctor Who Weekly and then Doctor Who Monthly. Doctor Who Weekly and Doctor Who Monthly stories should use the DWM prefix, as well, for simplicity's sake.

Some series which appeared in the magazine, like Brief Encounter and The Dalek Chronicles, are separately prefixed.
