Dacea was a snowy planet which the Twelfth Doctor found fascinating. It was populated by at least three intelligent races: blue-skinned humanoids, lemur-like creatures, and kangaroo-like creatures. Native plant-life included the cold-resistant Snow Orchids.
The Twelfth Doctor took Jata to Dacea on the day of the royal wedding between King Syllience and Lady Arcanbryte. The wedding was interrupted by Arcanbryte's pirate lover Bowack, who took Arcanbryte to his zeppelin in a flying sled. The Doctor and Jata followed and learned that Arcanbryte didn't want to marry Syllience but instead Bowack. Syllience learned of this and confessed that he didn't want to marry her either. That day, Arcanbryte married Bowack and Syllience married his servant Dorella. (COMIC: Royal Wedding)
