Daphne Dare (1 July 1929-27 September 2000) was the most frequently-credited costumer for the first four seasons of the 1963 version of Doctor Who. In fact, she worked on more serials than any other costumer in the history of the so-called "classic" era of Doctor Who. However, as she was not the costumer on either An Unearthly Child or The Power of the Daleks, she is not generally seen as the person responsible for the iconic "looks" of either the First or Second Doctors. One of her most prominent designs was that of the Voord.
