David Fisher (born 13 April 1929) wrote several television scripts and novelised two of his stories as Doctor Who and the Creature from the Pit and Doctor Who and the Leisure Hive in the early 1980's. He later returned in the early 2010's to novelise his remaining stories for AudioGO as audiobook versions replacing the novelisations by Terrance Dicks. Fisher wrote another script for Doctor Who called The Gamble With Time. He was unable to revise it, so it was altered by others. It became City of Death and was produced under the pseudonym David Agnew.
