Not much is known about the Daxzians except for their reputation of being light-fingered. The Doctor encountered one disguised as a staff member in the buffet carriage of the Orion Express, ideally placed to relieve passengers of their possessions. On this occasion the Doctor’s sonic screwdriver was the possession in question, recognised as valuable by his enemies, who would pay handsomely. The Daxzian was exposed and the sonic returned.
