Deindus was the homeworld of the Deindum. Irving Braxiatel called it an "unremarkable chunk of rock". (PROSE: Winging It) Genetic material from over fifty species travelled through a fissure and reacted with primordial soup on Deindus, resulting in the creation of the Deindum. Deindus had the largest concentration of Deindum forces, along with Maximediras.
Bernice and Peter Summerfield travelled to Deindus in the future using a time ring, at a point long after the Deindum had been defeated. They spent some time there, noting how silent the winds on the planet were. (AUDIO: Escaping the Future)
