Derren Nesbitt played Tegana in the Doctor Who television story Marco Polo. He also voiced Thomas Dodd in the Big Finish Doctor Who audio story Spare Parts and Quences in the Doctor Who Unbound audio Auld Mortality.
Nesbitt's other credits included roles on The Adventures of Sir Lancelot, H.G. Wells' Invisible Man, Danger Man, Dixon of Dock Green, Taxi!, The Saint, No Hiding Place, Gideon's Way, Public Eye, Softly, Softly, The Troubleshooters, Man in a Suitcase, UFO, The Persuaders!, Return of the Saint and Bergerac. However, he is best known for playing Campbell Goffin on Emergency – Ward 10, Det. Chief Insp. Jordan on Special Branch and Arnold Francis on The Courtroom. He also played Number Two in an episode of The Prisoner.
