Doc Holliday was a dentist, gambler, and gunfighter. He and his friend Wyatt Earp had several conflicts with Ike Clanton and his brothers. He took part in the gunfight at the O.K. Corral, which he and Earp won.
He extracted an infected tooth from the Doctor. Because of the name, the Clanton brothers mistook the Doctor for him. Doc Holliday was not eager to correct their misapprehension. (DW: The Gunfighters)
