Doctor Who Magazine's, 1989 issues spanned from issue 144 to issue 155 and were published by Marvel Comics Ltd.
Sheila Cranna continued as editor of the magazine.
From January's issue 144 through to June's issue 149 the price remained, as it had throughout much of 1988 at one pound 25 pence (£1.25), it rose to one pound 60 pence (£1.60) for the 150th issue, and then returned to £1.25 until issue 153. In November with issue 154 the price rose to one pound 50 pence (£1.50) and remained at that price for the rest of the year.
